Medical Insurance

We have designed a program of benefits to help assure sound health, and to protect you and your family against the high cost of appropriate health care.   We have two plans for participants to choose from and we pay the majority of your premium. Dependents may be covered under the plan.

 Life Insurance

Group life insurance is available to staff members.  The firm pays the premium on the coverage up to the amount specified in the plan. It is possible for participants to increase the coverage.

Long Term Disability Plan

Long Term Disability provides disability benefits when an employee becomes disabled due to sickness or injury, and the employee requires regular attention from a physician.  The amount of disability is a percentage of the employee's base pay, and may vary from year to year depending on the plan.

 

Section 125 Flexible Spending Arrangements

You may make tax-free contributions through payroll deduction to cover unreimbursed medical and supplemental health insurance premiums, child care expenses and/ or care for disabled dependents.

401(k) Profit Sharing Plan

Participation provides the opportunity to save for retirement on a tax-deferred basis with elective employee contributions and discretionary contributions by the firm.

Time Off

LOWREY, POWELL, STEVENS & MANGUM P.C. provides personal leave to its employees, including vacation, holidays, and days reserved for personal actions (illness, etc).  This time is used at the employees discretion and any unused  personal leave is paid to the employee in January of the following year.

Professional Development

We provide professional training, through firm sponsored programs, online courses, external workshops and conferences, and one on one learning opportunities. We pay for the cost of CPE courses, workshops and seminars. In addition, we provide assistance with the cost of becoming a CPA and preparing for the CPA Exam.
